Receiving & Distribution Lead

About Party Teller
Party Teller is a fast-growing specialty retailer offering party supplies, balloons, Halloween merchandise, holiday décor, gifts, and seasonal products.
We are looking for a hands-on Receiving & Distribution Lead to support our warehouse operations and ensure merchandise is accurately received, organized, and distributed to our retail stores.
Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and unload incoming merchandise and shipments.
  • Verify quantities against packing lists and receiving documents.
  • Identify and report shortages, damages, or receiving discrepancies.
  • Organize, label, and store merchandise in designated warehouse locations.
  • Sort and allocate merchandise to different Party Teller retail stores.
  • Pick, pack, stage, and prepare merchandise for store deliveries and transfers.
  • Maintain accurate inventory and assist with cycle counts and physical inventory.
  • Coordinate with Supply Chain and Store Operations regarding receiving and distribution needs.
  • Assign and coordinate daily tasks for warehouse associates or temporary workers as needed.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse.
  • Support new store openings and seasonal inventory distribution as needed.
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of warehouse, receiving, inventory, or distribution experience preferred.
  • Previous Lead or supervisory experience is preferred.
  • Experience with receiving, inventory control, picking, packing, and shipping.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team.
  • Basic computer and inventory system skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
  • Forklift or pallet jack experience is a plus.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish or English/Chinese is a plus.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to bend, reach, push, pull, and perform normal warehouse activities.
  • Ability to safely lift and move merchandise as required.
